.We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Purchaser of spare parts to join our Regional Procurement Organization department in Madrid.MED Service Operations > Regional MED > Procurement Organization.
MED Regional Procurement Organization (RPO) is responsible for coordinating MED (South Europe, Middle East and Africa) Vestas' spend with external suppliers.
With a matrix organization, RPO ensures the deployment of common strategy and processes with the same overall goals across all Vestas regions.
You will report to the Head of MED Service Procurement.The full team is working cross-functionally and is responsible for handling all Procurement activities related to the Service business.ResponsibilitiesGlobal Service Materials Category both for Vestas and Multibrand WTG (Main Components and Spare Parts)Support regional activities running RFQs for Main Components and Spare Parts (stakeholder management, supplier selection, negotiation)Market Research for market opportunities to support MED sales teamEnsure that suppliers are supporting Vestas goals in terms of cost, delivery, quality, and safetyLead Supplier relationship and performance managementImplement the Service Materials category strategy in the MED regionWork in collaboration with team members to ensure RPO targets are achievedQualificationsBachelor/diploma or Master's degree in the field of (or related to) Supply Chain Management (either Business or Engineering) is requiredExperience of 4 years in ProcurementHighly proficient in English and Spanish, written and verballyOther languages will be highly valued (Portuguese, Italian, French, Arabic...)CompetenciesGood interpersonal and stakeholder management skillsHaving a 'can do' approach and positive attitude towards the situations you will faceStructured person with methodical and negotiation skillsCross-cultural skills (will work as part of an international team)Team working competencies within a Matrix organizationAbility to prioritize in a time-sensitive settingWhat we offerWe offer an exciting job with skilled opportunities for professional and personal development in an inspiring and innovative organization and industry.Additional informationThis position is located in Madrid.BEWARE - RECRUITMENT FRAUDAbout VestasVestas is the energy industry's global partner on sustainable energy solutions.
