Focused on high OTIF for customers and mitigation of supply risks for business.
The role provides the link between the commercial organization in South Europe and the Manufacturing and Supply Chain functions in Europe & India to ensure proper communication of Supply and Demand issues and propose resolution with the right priorities.
Managing local Supply Chain Team in all countries.Scope (Territories)Countries covered: France, Italy, Turkey, Greece, Cyprus, Croatia, Macedonia, Serbia, Slovenia, Albania, Kosovo, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Bosnia.Position in the Organization ChartReports to commercial Head South Europe and dotted line to Head of SC & Operations Europe.
Manages local Supply Chain Managers in countries/subregions (5 direct reports).
Works closely with South Europe Leadership Team, Country Heads, and Europe/India Supply Chain organizations.Job Responsibilities/ActivitiesPlanning:Control over regional accurate 18-month rolling forecast along with the relevant assumptions like Risks & Opportunities.Establishing local country S&OP process in line with business planning cycle and global S&OP standards.
Overall champion for end-to-end process and business integration.Represent region in weekly and monthly planning meetings with the plants & supply teams (Demand Reviews, RSOP).Ensure that the forecasting tool/system are in place and properly managed.
Drive continuous advance of the process and tools (including forecast accuracy excellence and DCRs reduction).Responsible to assure accurate forward projection of inventory and purchase.
Make sure purchase plans are in place in all subsidiaries.Drive inventory improvement actions in the region according to inventory including proactive management of slow-moving, excess, and obsolete material.Work with the Supply Planning plant team to provide recommendations for balanced supply commitments, allocations.Ensure proper communication to South Europe organization to deliver effective Demand & Sales & Distribution, information about supply risks.Participate in NPL process in the region for SC part.Supply Chain & Logistics:Ensure OTC (orders) and PTP (purchases) processes are executed properly in SAP as well, according to processes in a timely manner.Approve and validate 3rd party suppliers purchase (FP and raws) process in line with regional threshold and responsibility (as per DOA).Support local Tolling processes (including audits and IP protection), make sure Tollers are producing according to good standards and compliantly.Monitor warehousing & Logistics rates, budget, quality audit, physical inventory count, choosing local warehouse and logistics providers in countries.Support factory planning and customer service in resolving availability constraints, facilitator of gap analysis for relevant countries.Gate Keeper of proper Master Data management and Labels coordination.Involved in products transfer projects between plants (EU-India), to ensure proper cooperation between regulatory, supply chain, and commercial.Involved in ALL ad hoc Supply Chain projects (e.G., CHAMACK, CONNECT, HARMONY, PHOENIX).Impact:Follow up on non-conformances raised in the region for proper follow up and resolution.HR (People Management) Related:Setting up proper objectives and development plans for the country SC Managers and their teams aligned with regional/global targets.Runs Talent management reviews, develops talent, prepares succession plans.Recruitments, exits, retention plans for the local SC teams.Coaching, onboardings, trainings on SC processes.Required Skills and ExperiencesMin 10 years of demonstrated progressive leadership experience, managing teams in matrix organizations.
