We are supporting our client, Ikono, to find a great OTAs Sales Manager to work in their offices in Madrid.
Mission:The IKONO OTAs Sales Manager will be responsible for building and developing relationships with the main OTAs in international markets.
Outcomes:Manage IKONO's business relationships with OTAs. Full commercial ownership and relationship management.Acquire all the relevant OTAs in each market.Cultivate relationships with OTAs to help maximize our sales on their platforms.Negotiate and close all commercial agreements with OTAs.Conduct market research and analysis to understand all the relevant OTAs operating in each of IKONO's markets.Build and develop a strategic Account Development Plan and associated budget forecasting to deliver business development objectives.Monitor customer performance internally (internal reporting) and externally (by organizing regular business review meetings with OTAs).Coordinate with all the IKONO departments to implement strategies aimed at increasing revenue and profitability within the OTAs platforms.Oversee and empower our growing OTAs team, guiding their development, setting clear objectives, and facilitating collaboration to achieve collective sales targets and organizational goals.Competences (Soft Skills):Results-oriented and self-demanding personality with a focus on outcomes.Strong organizational skills and the ability to work well in fast-paced and challenging environments.Extreme ownership and tenacity.Proactivity and autonomy.Data-driven decision-making.Flexibility.Collaborative and team-oriented mindset.Effective negotiation techniques.Team Leadership.Technical Competences/Experiences:Relevant experience and high familiarity with OTAs in the tourism industry and travel products.Thorough understanding of current players and trends in the travel tech and online industry.Bachelor's degree in Tourism or related field preferred.Fluency in English and Spanish, minimum level C1 required. Other European languages would be a plus.Work experience in a startup/scaleup/fast-paced international environment would be an advantage.
