Local Unit & Position Description: The Market and Transactions team is looking for a Consultant APA data analytics to work on its consulting services and improve its tools using fundamental, statistical, and artificial intelligence methods. The responsibilities of the Consultant APA data analytics will cover:
Big Data sourcing and analysis tools.Power Price Modelling: model improvement (Machine Learning methods) and expansion to other European countries (coupling with other tools).Development of DNV Market Intelligence, together with the rest of the team.Support on Consultancy studies, from scratch to delivery:Market analysis (quantitative)Market price forecasts (Wholesale, Ancillary Services)Position Qualifications: Engineering degree specialized in Industrial or Electrical field or Applied Mathematics, Computer Science or similar.1 to 5 years of experience with good knowledge of Python Web Scraping, Big Data, Data Science libraries is mandatory.Basic knowledge of VBA and SQL is mandatory.Python Machine Learning libraries knowledge will be valuable.Excellent English and Spanish language skills (both in writing and speaking). Arabic knowledge will be valuable.Immigration-related benefits, such as visa sponsorship, are not available for this position. Position and duration of the contract is related to maternity leave cover.
