ESSP, a private company with 7 major European Air Navigation Service Providers as shareholders, manages the operation and supports the adoption of the European Satellite Based Augmentation System to GPS: EGNOS.
The adoption of this service is rapidly growing given it allows correcting the GPS signal and offers enhanced features with accurate positioning and integrity within safety-of-life services context such as public transportation.ESSP recruits a SERVICE EVOLUTION ENGINEER - (F/M).
If you are rigorous with a good level of English and proficiency in satellite navigation (GNSS) and have at least 2 years of experience in EGNOS Services and Applications in multimodal domains, then this position is for you!By joining us, you will perform the EGNOS services evolution related tasks under the Service Evolution Manager coordination.
Your main responsibilities/activities will be:Performing EGNOS services evolution related tasks:EGNOS Services related documents/publications production, namely:Support in the Service Definition Document; Service roadmaps, service notices, contingency notifications to organizations with working agreements in force and related procedures definition/update; Preparation of service declarations to users.EGNOS V2 Service Engineering Board related actions implementation & follow-up; EGNOS contingencies communications implementation; Support to Satellite-Based Augmentation System Interoperability Working Group; Technical support in theEGNOS services evolution activities:Improvement of procedures and processes; Improvement of visualization of the technical contents of the EGNOS documentation; Support to the introduction of EGNOS new services or service levels in different domains; Technical support to Communication Navigation Surveillance projects implementation/execution.PROFILE:Good capacity of analysis and synthesis; Team player spirit;Ability to assume responsibilities; Proactiveness/initiative;Project management; Service provision oriented; Relevant knowledge of EGNOS, GALILEO and GNSS in General.JOB REQUIREMENTS:Language: English (B2) - CEFR and Spanish (desirable); Engineering degree or equivalent; Experience in projects in an international context (European); Available for regular travels, mainly in Europe.Human Resources information:1st interview is held by the direct manager of the position you applied for (technical interview); 2nd interview is held byHR department.Element of package of remuneration:Variable: bonuses based on objectives; Teleworking: up to 3 days/week; Health insurance, Life Insurance; Saving plan;TicketsRestaurant; Sustainable Mobility Package: Home/Office travels reimbursement if car sharing or bicycling; 29 holidays (for full time year).Job Location: Madrid (Spain)Type of Contract: Full time / PermanentESSP is committed to cultural diversity, gender equality and the employment of disabled workers.#J-18808-Ljbffr
