The candidate will be responsible for the development of new products and components based on smart card technology.
This role involves validating components, products, and processes with standard tests, developing application tests as necessary, and running small- and mid-scale R&D projects.
The candidate will also specify hardware elements requirements to suppliers, provide internal product documentation for product releases, and ensure successful product industrialization in collaboration with operations.
Your Responsibilities and day-to-day: Develop new products and components based on smart card technology.
Define / Validate components, products, and processes with standard tests; develop application tests if necessary.
Run mid to large scale R&D projects Specify hardware elements (e.g., foils, holograms, magnetic stripes, adhesives) requirements to suppliers.
Provide internal product documentation for product releases.
Perform successful product industrialization in collaboration with operations.
Work with international development and production sites.
Operate production/laboratory equipment for prototyping and testing/analysis.
Successfully interact with operations area for overall product performance.
Interact with different stakeholders within the company (international product management, purchasing, etc.).
Your Skills: University degree in materials, chemical or industrial engineering.
