Job Summary We are looking for a talented and highly motivated engineer who will be responsible for bringing new products to market reality whilst ensuring high levels of quality to current products. The select engineer will be focused on collaborating in the design, implementation, and verification of the Servo Drive product line and custom designs. The position requires good hardware skills but also a deep understanding of the physics underlying motion control technology.
Primary Responsibilities Develop and maintain the hardware running Servo Drives. Design new custom and off-the-shelf Drives, including schematic and PCB. Hands-on new hardware board bring-up, system debugging, and optimization. Review and improve external documentation for Servo Drives products (Product manuals, Datasheets, etc.). Improve internal documentation for Servo Drives products (Architecture, Detailed Design, etc.). Define, in conjunction with the Quality Assurance team, the Test and Verification Plans for Servo Drives products. Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training and Competencies MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering, or technical related discipline. Minimum working experience of 1 year. Experience with Electronic circuit technology design and assembly processes. Background in electrical power applications. Knowledge of EMIs. Experience with PCB / PCA manufacturing processes. Experience in Testing. Proven experience with Altium Designer. Fluent written and spoken Spanish and English. Travel Requirements Occasionally travel as needed (domestically and internationally) to customers for support and/or installation.
