We are seeking an HR Operations Associate to join the HR Employee Experience Team in Madrid, Spain. If you possess the following skills, we need you: the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced matrixed environment, strong HR Operations knowledge of Spanish labour laws, regulations, and market practice, and end-to-end expertise in Payroll, Time & Absence, Benefits, and Employee Data Management.Job Summary: The Human Resources Employee Experience team provides the full range of local HR operational services during the employee life cycle, including, but not limited to payroll, employee benefits, onboarding, off-boarding, data management, benefits administration, time, and absence tracking.Responsibilities: Provide oversight and approval including a 4 eyes check of monthly payroll.Monitor queries received from employees via the HR Answers tool and HR mailboxes, coordinating resolution of queries and escalations where needed, supporting resolution of a broad spectrum of queries from both HR partner teams and employees.Assist with audit preparation, active involvement in External and Internal Audits.Provide Spain and regional legal and regulatory expertise and oversight in HR activities execution.Manage documentation related to local activities, including updating standard operating procedures for all workstreams, coordinating records management, and ensuring firm's requirements are applied in the creation, storage, retention, and destruction of JP Morgan records.Ensure correct filing protocol for both paper and electronic documentation.Support and ensure risk and control oversight and regulatory reporting obligations.Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills: 3+ years HR experience, preferably within an international matrixed-managed company.Good working knowledge of Spanish labour laws, regulations, and market practice.Ability to prioritise and deliver results within agreed targets in a matrixed environment.Experience of planning and executing projects involving, but not limited to, the areas of recruitment, onboarding, off-boarding, payroll, benefits, and legal changes.Rigorous, with good interpersonal and communication skills, and autonomy.Ability to develop strong partnerships with colleagues across the firm and external partners.Fluent in English and Spanish.We look forward to hearing from you.
