We embrace world-class methodologies and technologies, including information-rich Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), to facilitate more efficient ways of working and design at all stages of the project life-cycle.Our team, as part of the continued growth of our business, is looking for a HVAC Engineer to support the plan, and who is looking to further develop their experience in delivering multi-disciplinary projects. These projects span a diverse range of construction sectors including among others, Industrial, Healthcare, Education, Leisure, Aviation, Commercial and Defense.Working within a dynamic, highly motivated and driven team, you will be part of our project delivery, mentor our junior staff and develop our future engineers. As an experienced HVAC Engineer, you will contribute to the winning, management and delivery of moderate to large scale projects.Responsibilities:As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be expected to:Support the design and engineering of building heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems, as well as, energy conservation and sustainability.Design various mechanical systems and provisions of building services for different sectors such as commercial, institutional, municipal, industrial, military and healthcare facilities.Perform studies to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of design alternatives, and recommend alternatives for implementation.Develop designs for a wide variety of projects.Develop technical specifications, plans, elevations, sections and details.Prepare design related calculations.Verify compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards/practices.Perform condition assessments, site visits, and construction inspections as needed.Coordinate with other in-house engineering disciplines as needed.Qualifications:BS in Mechanical Engineering or similar field will be essential.
