A Day in the Life Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) is where it all started in Medtronic. We are designing, producing, selling, and servicing implants and technologies for cardiac rhythm disorders as well as heart failure. Examples are implantable monitors/loop recorders, pacemakers, cardiac defibrillators, and telecardiology equipment. Innovation is key in Medtronic, and to optimally serve doctors and patients, the product pipeline is in continuous evolution.
CRM offers a wide product portfolio to (cardiac) surgeons, interventional cardiologists, and electrophysiologists for state-of-the-art treatment of cardiac diseases. In this exciting opportunity as a Technical Consultant CRM, you will provide expert technical support in the hospitals' operating rooms, as well as work with a network of accounts, in order to expand the utilization of device therapies, diagnostics, and monitoring for Cardiac Rhythm and Heart Failure disease management. You will also collect market intelligence data, follow, and report competition activities. The working territory will be the Canary Islands, and you will preferably be located in Gran Canaria.
Responsibilities Provide technical support to physicians in the operating room during Pacemaker and Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillator implants and Electrophysiology procedures.
Advise referring physicians on company products, therapies, and services to optimize patient outcomes.
Build strong and lasting relationships with key decision makers.
Educate referring physicians on clinical evidence of defined therapies to demonstrate improved patient outcomes.
Carry out all administrative duties and reports.
Must Haves University degree in Health sciences (biomedical engineering, electrical, IT, natural sciences, or other relevant degree).
At least 2 years of experience minimum is required but it's not a limitation.
Willingness to work with physicians, nurses, and hospital technicians.
Willingness to provide expert technical support in the operating room.
Fluent in English and Spanish (both written and spoken).
Computer literacy.
Communication skills and motivation to build strong business relationships with customers.
Clean driving license; willingness to travel intensively.
Teamwork, proactivity, and focus on delivering results.
Nice to Haves Motivation to learn is a must.
