As a Quality Engineer, a typical day might include:Partnering with stakeholders in understanding problems and investigating root cause.Ensuring the implementation of effective solutions to prevent recurrence.Initiating and facilitating cross-functional meetings to address quality issues and brainstorm solutions.Facilitating internal/external audits and certification activities, as applicable.Acquiring and analyzing data using standard quantitative methods to facilitate process analysis and improvements.Planning, designing, and implementing tests to monitor quality using engineering principles.Other duties as assigned.This job might be for you if you have:B.S. degree in Engineering, Math, Statistics, or other technical degree, or equivalent experience.Typically, 2+ years of experience in quality engineering, process improvement, or data analytics.Strong facilitation, organization, communication, project management and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of quality tools and process improvement techniques (FMEA, Six Sigma, PDCA, Lean Manufacturing, Control Charts, Histograms, Pareto).Knowledge of ISO 9001 and applicable industry standards.Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills in Spanish and English.Preferred Qualifications:Experience using metrology and statistical methods including statistical control of processes (SCP).Knowledge of probability/reliability concepts.ASQ Certified Quality Engineer.Knowledge of design, manufacturing, and service processes.Location:This position is located in our Madrid, Spain office which is near the Ramon y Cajal train station and has great access to metro and bus transport.Competitive pay.
