As Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the Human Resources team, ensuring the service is on point and solving any issues reported by the team.Your day-to-day:Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, selection, talent development, learning, health and safety, people operations, and labor relations.Implements and oversees the administration of human resources programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits payroll, union procedures, negotiation & mediation (SMAC), and leaves.Manages disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development.Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management.Monitors and ensures the organization's compliance with state and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.Assists in the interviewing and hiring of Human Resource employee team members with the appropriate skills, as needed.Oversees and monitors the candidate identification and selection process.Assists in maintaining effective employee communication channels in the property (e.G., develops daily communications and assists with regularly scheduled property-wide meetings).Reviews progressive discipline documentation for accuracy and consistency, and checks for supportive documentation; is accountable for determining appropriate action.Utilizes an open door policy to acknowledge employee problems or concerns in a timely manner; ensures employee issuesare referred to the Department Manager for resolution.Partners with Loss Prevention to conduct employee accident investigations, as necessary.Communicates performance expectations in accordance with job descriptions for each position.What to expect from us:Competitive salary.Discounted international room rates.Employee recognition programmes.Training programmes and access to IHG's training tool.Requisitos:Bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field.2+ years experience working in Human Resources department as Manager or Assistant Manager.Must be fluent in local language and English; additional languages will be highly valuable.Opera knowledge will be highly valuable.Proactive, positive, energetic, dynamic, empathetic, team-worker, and with passion for service.#J-18808-Ljbffr
