What are you going to do?
AHSE Technician plays a crucial role in identifying and reducing workplace risks. Their main focus is to ensure all operations and activities in the plant comply with established safety standards and regulations. This role is vital for maintaining a safe work environment and minimizing workplace incidents and accidents.
Responsibilities: Conduct regular safety inspections in all areas of the plant to identify and evaluate potential risks and hazards.Develop, implement, and update safety procedures and policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.Coordinate and supervise evacuation drills and emergency response exercises, ensuring all employees are prepared for emergencies.Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, preparing detailed reports with recommendations to prevent future incidents.Provide safety training and occupational health awareness to staff, ensuring all employees understand and follow safety policies.Maintain accurate and detailed records of all safety-related activities, including inspections, incidents, training, and audits.Work with other departments to ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safety culture throughout the organization.Participate in planning and conducting internal safety audits to continuously evaluate and improve safety procedures.Who are you?
Requirements:
Degree in Safety or a related field.Previous experience in industrial safety or occupational health is valuable.Understanding of safety regulations and standards, including local, national, and international regulations.Intermediate/advanced level of English, both spoken and written.Skills and Competencies:
Ability to identify and assess risks effectively.Excellent communication skills to train staff and collaborate with other departments.Ability to maintain accurate records and organize emergency drills and audits.Proactive attitude to identify areas for improvement and propose effective solutions.Ability to work effectively with different departments and organizational levels.Business Impact:
