HSE department is the one guiding and supporting the fulfillment of safety, health, and environmental aspects in the factory, coordinating changes, implementation of new products, and legal aspects to be fulfilled in order to deliver our vision of 'safety first' in Vestas.
Responsibilities Creation of local HSE documents (risk assessments, HSE plans, emergency response plans, customer-specific procedures, etc).Follow up of contractors/subcontractors including mobilization/demobilization, post-work assessment, and audits when neededPerform HSE training (basic safety training as required by local regulations) including set up of training requirements according to local legislationResponsible to provide expertise and support to Operations in incident and hazardous observation investigation and root cause analysisPerform site visits and inspectionsActively support the development and realization of a 'Zero Incident Culture'Responsible to provide support and collaboration on QSE matters related to the countryParticipation in tender processes (preparation of QSE documentation) and contract review from Environmental, Health & Safety perspectiveAssist with various tasks contributing to staff organizationPerform and follow up internal audits at SU and SBU levelDevelop and support implementation of processes and procedures, including hearing processesQualifications Master Degree (Scientific Discipline of HSE Master-minimum 2 specialties) requiredHigh proficiency level of English RCA/CEPASIn-depth knowledge of HSE standards and best practices, quality ISO standards, concepts, processes, and proceduresProficiency in contractor/subcontractor Sustainability management, including mobilization/demobilization, pre-qualification requirements, and post-work assessmentExpertise in hazard job site assessment/analysis/solution, risk assessments, incident investigation, and root cause analysisDevelopment/implementation of processes and procedures, including comprehensive HSE PlansConducting inspections and auditsKnowledge of Spanish HSE LegislationTeam PlayerSelf-driven with very high accountabilityWhat We Offer An open and inclusive working environment with opportunities to grow professionally with the largest and industry-leading company within renewable energy
