Your Mission as a HSE Section Head As the HSE Section Head, your primary mission will be to lead and manage the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) initiatives across the company. You will play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and implementing effective HSE policies, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, and fostering a culture of safety throughout the organization. You will be handling these duties and responsibilities as HSE Section Head Develop and enforce effective HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures. Support managers and supervisors on all safety, occupational health, and environmental matters. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining accurate records. Conduct regular HSE audits and recommend improvements. Coordinate HSE activities, including safety meetings, inspections, and emergency response drills. Act as the company's representative to external audit organizations like BSI, insurance companies, and civil defense. Lead company-wide HSE initiatives such as ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. Investigate accidents and prepare lessons learned reports. Provide regular HSE performance updates to management. Identify workplace hazards and train employees on safety protocols. Organize HSE training and orientation for all new employees. Implement measures to mitigate health and safety risks. Guide peers in adhering to company policies and procedures. Participate in on-the-job training and promote a high-performance work environment. Foster collaboration and promote the company's values across teams. Liaise with internal departments and external service providers, equipment suppliers, and audit organizations. Qualifications and Skills that will allow you to thrive as HSE Section Head Minimum of 7 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably in the oil and gas industry. Bachelor's degree in a related field is required. Occupational Health and Safety Degree, Diploma, or Certificate. Supervisory experience is essential. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OSHA 18001, and HSE management systems. Proficient in conducting hazard analysis, risk assessments, and environmental impact analysis. Previous experience in the technical aspects of the oil and gas industry is preferred. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and with meticulous attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Leadership skills to lead by example and promote a safety-first culture Additional certifications in first aid, NEBOSH, forklift safety, and quality management are advantageous. Additional Information Work Location: Primarily field-based with regular visits to the yard and operational sites. Working Days Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
