Job Description SummaryOur goal is not just to increase access, but to do so in a sustainable and responsible way:Finding the right balance between guaranteed quality, reliable supply, and appropriate pricing.Protecting our environment (carbon footprint, natural resources) and championing diversity, equity, and inclusion across our company and beyond.As HSE Safety Engineer in Sandoz Industrial Products, you'll play a key role in the ramp-up of the Palafolls site:Job DescriptionMajor accountabilities:Your responsibilities will include:Assessing HSE criteria for all new projects.Working in a multifunctional team to manage the projects.Overseeing the project management office for the construction works.Providing HSE guidance during the design of User Requirements Specifications and during change management activities.Informing, training, and sharing best practices with all associates.Managing HSE risk assessment for all jobs.Promoting and integrating prevention as a key feature in the project.Leading the investigation of accidents and following up on action plans.Controlling and following up on CAPA, HSE KPIs, and promoting HSE net tools use.Participating in planning for preventive initiatives, work permissions, and self-protection plans.Being part of the company's Health protection service.What you'll need to bring to the role:Engineering degree.Master in Health & Safety is mandatory.5-7 years of experience in industrial HSE roles with a strong focus on safety or consulting.Sound knowledge of HAZOP, ATEX, Self-protection Plans, What-if studies.Fluent in English & Spanish.Knowledge of the pharma industry.Environmental management expertise.Project management skills.Why Sandoz?Generic and Biosimilar medicines are the backbone of the global medicines industry.
