The Information Processing and Telecommunications Center (www.iptc.upm.es) is one of the Research Centers at UPM, bringing together around 160 researchers in Electronics, Communications, Networks, Computing, and Software. UPM-IPTC has a sustained record of involvement in numerous competitive projects and extensive experience in collaboration and technology transfer to companies.
The Data Processing and Simulation Group (GPDS), part of UPM-IPTC, is formed by fifteen researchers and focuses on the design and development of multisensor acquisition and fusion architectures, applied artificial intelligence, and optimization techniques in sectors such as energy, air traffic control, and defense.
