Skills/Qualifications:
The following skills and experience will be valued:

Knowledge in the use of cloud computing platforms like OpenStack and Kubernetes and network virtualization tools.
Knowledge in Network Management, SDN, NFV and Edge computing technologies.
Programming experience, preferably in Java and Python or other scripting languages.
Experience in installation and configuration of IP networks and Linux systems.
Specific Requirements:
Master Degree in Telecommunications, specialized in Telematics/Computer Networking (like MUIT/MUIRST of ETSIT-UPM)
Languages:
ENGLISH Level: Excellent
Additional Information The candidate will join to work on the research projects of the Grupo de investigación en Redes de Comunicaciones y Servicios (GIROS, www.dit.upm.es/giros ), where, optionally, he can pursue a PhD Degree in Telematics/Computer Networking Engineering. GIROS is a consolidated research group officially recognized by the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
