As a Senior UX Designer, you enjoy collaborating continuously with Users, Product Management, Engineering, and other stakeholders using design thinking and other UX techniques to solve complex problems.
Most of all, you want to work on software experiences that contribute to making people's life and health better and make a difference.
Responsibilities30 days:Host design studio, product-driven workshops to facilitate divergent thinking.Engage end users and customers to document their needs through discovery and iteration.Build rapport with teams, collaborate and enable them to be successful.Help teams scale and solve UX and business problems quickly.Work with user research teams to collect and synthesize quantitative and qualitative research that informs and validates design decisions.Educate teams on agile and scrum methodologies and help them grow.60+ days:Forge strong relationships with customers and internal and external stakeholders to make design a critical tool for business strategy.Help in scaling the organization to be more design-centric and help the business in using design to drive opportunities.Work with external groups to scale research or UX when needed.Showcase new UX methodologies or processes and do an MVP with the core team.Educate and share our UX methodologies with internal and external teams.Come up with innovative ways to keep the UX team engaged while we scale.Train and mentor designers on best practices and learnings.Take on more leadership roles, accountable for other junior designers.Help in building an experience design strategy so that each team has a UX presence.Minimum Requirements8+ years of career experience in user experience and user interface design.Experience being a scrum master.Experience working with agile teams.Self-driven, curious, collaborative, and a good communicator.Incorporating User Research findings into the design process.Experience with a variety of design tools such as Sketch, Axure, and Figma.A strong UX toolkit demonstrated in your portfolio.Strong ownership and leadership capabilities.Experience in agile UX methodologies, Lean UX, Agile design methods.Designing digital products using a minimum viable product approach.Bachelor's or master's degree in User Experience Design, Graphic Design, New Media, Interaction Design, Psychology, or equivalent experience.Experience in science, life sciences, chemistry, laboratories, etc., a plus but not required.What We OfferRemote working anywhere in Spain.Great team members.Dynamic and innovative culture.Focus on career development.Collaborative and diverse environment.Competitive corporate salary and benefits.About UsPerkinElmer is a leading, global provider of end-to-end solutions that help scientists, researchers, and clinicians better diagnose disease, discover new and more personalized drugs, monitor the safety and quality of our food, and drive environmental and applied analysis excellence.
