OVERVIEW The HRIS specialist is part of the Human Resources (HR) department and works closely with the global HRIS team on day-to-day activities.
This position is responsible for processing employee updates in Workday and complying with all legal requirements related to hiring, terminations and departmental procedures including handling confidential personnel records.
As an integral part of the department, this position will provide HRIS support and assist with generating headcount reports and assist day-to-day HRIS related queries.DESCRIPTION Process day-to-day daily employee transactions including inputting/updating changes and maintaining data in WorkdayAssist with data entry and onboarding functions for the new hires in WorkdayAssist with user issues and troubleshootingAssist with updating salary increases and process job changes in WorkdayAssist in training end users on new Workday featuresProcess and review HRIS data for employees and organizational changes; investigate and resolve data integrity issues of HRIS systemsSchedule and facilitate off-boarding of staff on both systemsDesign and distribute monthly, quarterly, year-end and ad-hoc reportsDevelop and execute audit queries for employee data and maintain HRIS data integrityConsult with users to develop and understanding of business needs and support those needs using Workday and other related systems and toolsProactively formulate ideas and recommendations for system improvementsPerform other special projects or duties when requiredComplete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for your role and assigned by your manager/supervisor REQUIRED SKILLS Proficient in ExcelAttention to detail, problem-solving competencies are vitalExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with HRIS Workday or any other HRIS system preferredStrong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills requiredAbility to handle sensitive information in a confidential mannerAble to perform in a fast-paced environment while always maintaining excellent serviceAbility to work effectively across organizational boundaries and all level of employees through the organization REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Minimum Bachelor's degree or its equivalentExperience with integrating systems preferred but not required1-2 years of experience with HRISKnowledge of Workday or any other HRIS System preferred Equal Opportunity Statement: By applying, I confirm I have read and accept TransPerfect's Privacy Policy: https://www.transperfect.com/about/data-privacy-recruiting
