Role Purpose : Responsible for providing a wide range of experience to a variety of human resources programs and policies, often encompassing several areas including organizational development, employee and labor relations, recruiting, compensation, benefits, training, safety, or personnel research.
Assignments include development, implementation, and evaluation of programs or policies, and focus on service delivery within a segment of the business or for a country or countries, providing advice and recommendations.
Will provide input and/or define short and long-term goals and objectives for human resource service delivery.
Key Accountabilities HR Applied Knowledge : Recognized internally as highly skilled and has high impact on the business imperatives to be addressed.
Provide advanced knowledge of HR policies and best practices affecting HR programs and operational knowledge of the company's mission, services, and measures of business effectiveness in order to place the company's needs into perspective and provide appropriate assistance to situations.
Business Unit/Country Management : Maintain productive and collaborative relationships in order to facilitate effective service delivery of HR programs, processes, and/or tools.
Provide resolutions to problems of complex options and make recommendations that may extend beyond established guidelines.
Understand the value of HR services to the company and how to deliver those services.
Program Management : Manages HR programs for the business.
Make recommendations for program expectations and direction.
Identify and understand HR issues, company needs, and problems of a recurring nature to effectively address and resolve situations.
Performance : Establish work standards, processes, and procedures.
Maintain contact with staff to ensure a clear understanding of the organizational unit's priorities.
Ensure objectives are agreed with management and consistently work toward them.
Networking : Represents the HR community as a principal contact and generally performs in a program or project leadership role.
Interacts with management and senior personnel on matters requiring coordination across functional areas to achieve best practices.
Support business and HR colleagues through training, mentoring, and coaching on specialized programs.
Development : Seek out ways to improve work standards, methodology, and processes to support the HR strategy.
Key Performance Indicators : Uses professional concepts to resolve complex issues to attain desired business results for specialized HR programs, processes, and/or tools.
Exercises judgement in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining all defined HR Service Levels.
Determines methods and procedures on specialized assignments for HR programs, practices, procedures, tools, and techniques within agreed timescale and budgets.
Mitigation of risk to the business through accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of data in day-to-day activities.
