WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING As a Workday Functional Analyst, you will enable the HR team and HR business partners to make informed business decisions by providing timely, pertinent HR analytics/reporting and technology solutions supporting areas to include talent acquisition and human capital management.
You will provide expert consulting, HR Technology program and policy design, and identification of best practices of the HR Technology function.
Proactively identify opportunities for system enhancements and engage and consult with functional owners providing detailed system-based options for resolving complex business process issues.
We need someone like you to help us in different fronts: Identify business needs by working with local and global teams, doing analysis, impact assessments, and solution design.
Analyze business requirements, design, configure, and test the Workday solution.
Document functional business requirements, troubleshoot application problems, and promote proactive approaches for using HRIS capabilities to provide functionality to meet business needs and improve HR operations.
Document standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and implement process improvements.
Recommend best practices and solutions based on the latest Workday features.
Provide front-line support, troubleshooting, and training to end users on features and functionality of Santander's HRIS system.
Resolve incidents raised by key users in a timely manner, managing a queue of cases, prioritizing issues based on severity and customer impact.
Work well under pressure, be sensitive to deadlines, interact in a team environment, adapt quickly to change, pay deep attention to details, and possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
EXPERIENCE 1 year of experience maintaining human capital management systems.
Strongly preferred minimum of 3 years of experience with general Workday and minimum 1 year of specialization in Compensation, Advance Compensation, or Benefits.
EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree in HR, information technology, or related field or equivalent work experience.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE Fluent in English.
Analytical problem-solving with tools (ex.
Excel) and critical thinking skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Position requires poise, tact, and diplomacy.
Ability to interact and communicate with all organization levels globally, mindful of the culture and diversity of the audience.
Inquisitive with the ability to problem-solve and adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
Can handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity.
Team player who actively takes initiative with a strong work ethic.
