The mission of BSC is to research, develop and manage information technologies in order to facilitate scientific progress.Context And MissionWe are seeking an experienced HR Officer specializing in labor relations to join our team, reporting directly to the HR & Labour Relations Manager. In this critical role, you will drive the effective implementation of HR policies and procedures, while ensuring optimal work conditions and fostering strong, productive relationships with the works council.Key DutiesManage new employee onboarding and incorporation processes.Handle work and fellows contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards.Administer payroll operations accurately and on time.Oversee offboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions for departing staff.Serve as the primary HR advisor and point of contact for Group Leaders and their departments.Coordinate HR processes for students, ensuring compliance and smooth operations.Support to HR & Labour Relations Coordinator: Provide general support, including document management and addressing staff inquiries.Collaborate with the HR team to manage and maintain cooperative relations with the works council.Prepare and create detailed legal labor reports as required.HR data management (data intro in the ERP and different reporting systems)Support to the department in the internal HR projects.RequirementsUniversity Degree or equivalent professional experience.A minimum of 5 years experience in an HR Department, in a similar role.Good skills in Microsoft Office (especially in Excel).Demonstrable expertise in labour law and regulations.Experience in an international and multi-cultural environment will be valued.Experience in a research centre will be valued.Excellent verbal and written communication (Spanish, Catalan, and English).Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environment.Teamwork and proactive cooperation.Flexibility and service attitude.ConditionsThe position will be located at BSC within the Management Department.We offer a full-time contract (37.5h/week), a good working environment, flexible working hours, extensive training plan, restaurant tickets, private health insurance, support to the relocation procedures.Duration: Open-ended contract due to technical and scientific activities linked to the project and budget duration.Holidays: 23 paid vacation days plus 24th and 31st of December per our collective agreement.Salary: we offer a competitive salary commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the candidate.Starting date: December
