About the role
Are you an experienced HR generalist who has a passion for people topics and prioritizes clients in people solutions?
We are looking for a driven team member to join our team of collaborative HR professionals.
Our opportunity is for a dynamic and engaged HR professional located in Madrid, Spain, who is committed to building talent proactively to meet the growing needs of the Western Europe market.
As a trusted partner to the business, you will create opportunities to successfully deliver meaningful projects to build talent and lead an excellent employee life cycle experience.
This is a rare opportunity to work directly with the Western Europe and Middle East Africa HR team who work across 9 countries in this remit as well as the business heads to grow the Reinsurance, Corporate Solutions and IPTIQ business in Spain.
You will have the opportunity to be part of HR beyond Spain.

Key responsibilities HR Partnering:
- You design the local people strategy, drive its implementation and execution across Business Units in Spain;
- You provide general advisory services to the growing businesses in Spain on: Leadership, personal growth and career development, Salaries and Compensation, Talent acquisition, Onboarding, Retention and Talent Pipeline Planning, Managing Organisation Development projects, building effective change plans and implementing initiatives, Enabling an agile, commercial and learning culture;
- You drive the implementation of global policies in the location;
- You lead and execute standard labour relations issues including restructuring, grievances, disciplinary, exits, under-performance and other key labour relations processes;
- You help craft and implement new HR services and solutions for the business;
- You drive Diversity and Inclusion interventions among other Group/Regional projects.Manage HR advisor in Spain and supervise our HR Key Operations:
- Payroll / Benefits management;
- On-off boarding process and employment changes;
- Maintenance and continuous improvement of local policies, processes, internal repository.About the team
Leading the HR function in Spain in collaboration with an HR Advisor, you'll be part of a broader team spread across Western Europe and MEA countries consisting of HR Partners and service delivery specialists.

The position is based in Madrid, Spain, where you can choose to either be at the office full time or practice hybrid flexible working between home and the office, aligned to business requirements.
You will also have the opportunity to work with various generalist HR functions, Centres of Expertise and with colleagues across the world, as we are part of an outstanding international HR community.
About you
- Minimum of 8 years' HR advisory experience preferably in a matrix or global company, combining both partnering and operations experience;
- Bachelor's degree in Labour Relations & HR, Psychology, Business preferred;
- Strong communication skills and capability to handle ambiguity;
- First experience in Management preferred, but not a must;
- Confident with MS SharePoint and MS work environment;
- Proficient in English (verbal and written);
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
