Job Purpose The HR Managerwill ensure efficient, effective, and compliant HR operations, contributing to the overall success of LEVEL through strategic and hands-on support. Working in our Barcelona office, the HR Manager is part of our Corporate team.
Main Responsibilities - Tasks As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the HR function within the company. You will ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, and support business strategies from an HR perspective. You will be a strategic partner to senior management, playing a key role in fostering a positive work environment and enhancing employee engagement and productivity. Your main responsibilities will be:
Talent Acquisition and Onboarding: Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and hire top talent, managing the entire recruitment process and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires. Employee Relations and Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor on HR policies and procedures, addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive work environment through engagement initiatives. Performance Management: Implement and oversee performance management processes, guiding managers and employees through appraisals and development plans to enhance overall performance and growth. Training and Development: Identify training needs, coordinate relevant programs, and support employee career progression, while evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives. Compensation and Benefits: Administer the company's compensation and benefits programs. Payroll Management: Ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll, complying with Spanish regulations and addressing payroll-related queries to maintain employee satisfaction. HR Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with labor laws and group policies, staying updated on legislative changes, and preparing and submitting required HR reports and documentation to IAG. Health and Safety (Risk Prevention): Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures, conduct risk assessments and regular safety inspections, and promote a culture of safety awareness among employees. HR Strategy and Projects: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives, lead HR projects, and support organizational change initiatives to improve HR processes and systems. Education Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably within a multinational company. In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, employment laws, and payroll management. Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, HR compliance, and payroll administration. Competencies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Languages English: C1 - C2
