The Dorcas business will now operate as part of the Allegion Home & Work business unit within the Allegion International segment.Position SummaryThe HR Generalist provides support to the organization to enable integration, development, engagement and support for Dorcas into Allegion H&W Business Unit.
This position cares about any dynamic concerning Dorcas full organization in Siete Aguas (Valencia) in consistence with HR H&W priorities and processes.In addition, HR Generalist is responsible for full-life cycle talent attraction, talent development and engagement, payroll, reporting, training plan and HR metrics for both Spanish entities (Dorcas and Cerraduras).Finally, will collaborate within H&W HR community to harmonize current contracts and benefits to the Allegion comp&ben policies.Over time, wider focus about human resources programs which may include development, employee or labor relations, and affirmative action/equal employment opportunity compliance.Completes Dorcas and Cerraduras personnel transactions and maintains associated records.Initially will report to the CEO Dorcas, dotted line to H&W HR Director.Principal ResponsibilitiesWorks with team to enhance the integration of Dorcas HR policies within Allegion HR Community.Support during the integration phase for anything regarding HR matters: contracts, admin tasks and documentation, comp&ben harmonization, etc.Provide HR expertise, partnering with Dorcas Leader, 1st level managers and Frontline leaders, helping them performing operational needs and KPIsFor both Spanish locations èFirst point of contact for HR admin tasks and payrollprovide HR support to employees (white and blue collars) for employment issues and questions, making sure labor law, local collective agreements, regulations and policies are respected.Prevent conflicts and manage disciplinary actions when needed always using tact, discretion and empathy.Create and maintain reports and dashboards to support client groups (Workday, Strengths Finder, and engagement).
This includes data integrity.Provide support for Talent Management processes (Succession Planning, Growth Roadmaps, etc.
).Provide Talent Acquisition and onboarding support for all hires.Support talent programs such as internships, co-ops, and other early career talent programs.Interact with public offices and institution at local levelAdditional projects to support client groups as appropriateBachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Labor/Industrial Relations, Management, Psychology or Business.10+ years of experience in general Human Resources: employee relations, talent acquisition and management, change managementKnowledge and experience with Spanish employment lawSkilled at indirect leadership & influencing others with the ability to navigate a matrix organization Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain an engaged teamStrong technological skills and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Experience in creating dashboards and analyzing data reports.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate with all levels of staff, professionals, and remote employees.Detail-oriented, organized, with a strong sense of urgency.Orientation to problem solving, manage conflict, influencing, multi-tasking and manage change.Experience in a multinational environment is preferableFluent in English (written and spoken)Valencia district basedHigh energy, passion, resilience & determinationExcellently skilled at creating or providing communication to the organizationTravel propensity: up to 25-30% btw Spanish locations (Valencia & Calatauyd)We Celebrate Who We Are!
