Your missionThis role is instrumental in enriching the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding. The HR Generalist role focuses on operational efficiency and acts as a subject matter expert in people processes which cover employment law, compliance, monthly payroll processes, and working closely with other functions such as Finance, Procurement, Workplace, and Management. In addition, the HR Generalist role executes HR initiatives along the HR strategy that enhance employee engagement and continuous improvement of the employee experience.What you'll do Manage full employee life cycle, onboarding, retention, engagement, performance, recognition, career development, and offboarding. Provide day-to-day support and guidance to employees and managers with end-to-end HR-related queries and processes. Advise on HR policies, procedures, and manage independently HR administration. Upload and oversee monthly payroll and HR administration in Spain. Support in annual compensation review process. Deputy function for HR Manager. Employment Law, Employee Relations & Compliance: Provide advice and expertise in local employment law and practices. Support HR Manager in continuously managing employee relation cases and reviewing the company's people processes, implementing accurate up-to-date processes, and ensuring compliance across the board. Manage requests and triage, assess and advise on policies & processes for employees. HR Documentation & HRIS and Employee Data Management: Prepare monthly HR documentation and files (Vacation days, Payroll documentation, Performance appraisals, required legislation documentation, Visa documentation, Health / Insurance matter documentation). Manage year-end HR documentation of the company. Proactively monitor and review any legislation changes. Continuously maintain accurate data on HRIS system with annual audit and review. Act as a superuser for monthly data reports from HRIS, dashboard, analytics, people metrics. HR Projects: Contribute to HR projects with focus on building and setting up new business entities, e.g., reviewing existing workflows and data fields and working towards alignment and optimization of HRIS data platform. Continuous support in implementation of HR systems and payroll provider. Support in Employer Branding initiatives. Support in Vendor Management projects. Stakeholder Management: Liaise effectively with external stakeholders (Payroll, Insurance, Pension other 3rd party vendors). Liaise with internal stakeholders such as Procurement, Workplace, Finance, and Management. What you'll bring Must have relevant HR generalist experience in Spain minimum of 5 years. Understanding of administrative payroll processes and compensation & benefits discipline & employment law in Spain. Demonstrated proven experience in delivering human resources services. Proficient in building relationships at all levels and skilled in conflict and change management. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, along with strong interpersonal abilities. Good business acumen with the essential ability to mediate between business and people priorities. Good presentation and facilitation skills, robust coaching and partnering capabilities.
