.HR Director (2176812/001) Barcelona, SpainJob Summary/IntroductionRobert Walters Barcelona is looking for an Industrial Human Resources Director for an international organization located near Barcelona.In this strategic position you will report directly to the Managing Director and will be part of the Board of Directors. This position will have a direct impact on the people management strategy, you will create policies and procedures from scratch to enhance business objectives, ensure productivity, and maintain key relationships both internally and externally.DescriptionWith at least 8 years of previous experience and a related University degree, you will use your deep knowledge of industrial labour relations to align business and HR strategy by doing the following:- Apply your talent management skills to design a full employee cycle that encompasses recruitment strategy, on boarding, employee engagement, and off boarding using a competency-based approach and monitoring compliance with internal policies and legal standards. You will coordinate with the international HR team and develop HR policies, such as compensation, benefits, health, and safety, etc. This includes a special focus on the L&D strategy, training, and change, coordinating among departments the learning requirements, and designing while ensuring compliance.- Use your exceptional communication skills to design internal communication plans and policies, involving key stakeholders. With a strong focus on ensuring a feedback culture, you will connect objectives with individual and team challenges, as well as C&B, to create a performance management system.- Utilise your negotiation skills to liaise with various stakeholders such as Employee Delegates, at key moments such as labour inspections or union elections. You will be the legal representation with external stakeholders, update internal regulations to ensure alignment with law changes, manage the work calendar, absenteeism, and labour matters among departments.
