HR DIRECTOR
HR AREA Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) offers a position for an HR Director.
Reporting to the General Manager, the HR Director will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the Human Resource Area, composed of 2 units: Professional Development Unit and Labour Relations Unit, ensuring the implementation of the organization's mission and talent strategy.
We're looking for a person with a strong basis in labour relations, clearly oriented to people development.
JOB DESCRIPTIONEducation and qualifications:
Required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Labour Relations, Law, Psychology or related field.
Strong knowledge of Spanish labour / employment law.
Proficiency in Spanish and English.
Desired: Master's degree.
Experience and knowledge:
A skilled HR professional with at least 7+ years of experience in similar positions.
Experience managing the HR function in a Health/Research context (preferred: public institution).
Experience in implementing and maintaining systems and frameworks (payroll, employee benefits, and schemes) and unafraid to move between strategic and operational HR.
Skills/Abilities:
Integrity, reliability, and trustworthiness.
Proactive with problem-solving skills and a 'here to help' attitude.
Natural driver of projects and able to facilitate processes.
Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent projects while meeting deadlines.

Main responsibilities and duties:
Ensures appropriate coordination between HR activities and initiatives and corporate strategy.
Ensures and promotes the implementation of the HRS4R.
Oversees the daily workflow of the HR Area.
Develops Human Resources policies, procedures, and solutions.
