GENERAL CONTEXT Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international independent medical-humanitarian organization that offers assistance to populations in distress, without discrimination. MSF OCBA is one of the operational directorates, with operations guided by various support departments.
CONTEXT AND GENERAL OBJECTIVE OF THE POST OCBA aims to ensure a safe working environment for all staff and beneficiaries. The HR Conflict Manager will reinforce early detection and continuous follow-up of cases of mismanagement and misconduct.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND MAIN TASKS AND OBJECTIVES Design and Deploy an OCBA HR Conflict Management Framework:Identify gaps in the HR conflict management process.Develop a global framework for HR conflict management.Define a 2-year deployment plan for HR Conflict Management culture.Identify necessary tools for framework adoption.Advise HR actors on framework deployment.Assess the impact of the framework on conflict management.Support Teams in Daily Management of HR Conflicts:Define preventive initiatives for a healthy working environment.Coordinate global management of HR conflict cases.Support decision making with clear recommendations.Ensure Reporting and Follow-Up of Cases:Propose standard case management reports.Define a document compilation system compliant with GDPR.Ensure timely updates of the case database.Promote Networking with Stakeholders:Collaborate with the Behaviour Unit and other departments.Support focal points in early detection of HR conflict cases.SELECTION CRITERIA Degree in leadership and workplace conflict resolution (preferred).Experience managing cases of misconduct.Excellent conflict management skills.Strong organizational and analytical skills.Experience in HR policies and practices.Good communication skills in English; other languages are an asset.Minimum 2 years MSF field experience (preferred).CONDITIONS Permanent full-time position.Minimum commitment of 2 years.Salary based on MSF OCBA Reward Policy.HOW TO APPLY Attach CV and cover letter in the application process.Closing date: September 22nd 2024 at 23:59 CET.MSF is committed to workforce diversity.
