You will play a critical role in managing benefits enrollment, processing changes, and coordinating with benefit vendors to ensure smooth operations.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of employee benefits programs and regulations.To be considered for this role, you must complete a full application on our company careers page, including all screening questions and a brief pre-employment test.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister employee benefits programs, including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.Process new enrollments, changes, and terminations in benefit plans accurately and in a timely manner.Communicate benefit options, changes, and updates to employees through various channels, including employee meetings, email communications, and online portals.Provide guidance and assistance to employees regarding their benefit options, eligibility criteria, coverage details, and enrollment procedures.Coordinate annual open enrollment processes, including preparing communication materials, conducting enrollment meetings, and assisting employees with benefit selections.Manage the enrollment process for new hires, including eligibility verification, enrollment forms distribution, and enrollment system updates.Serve as the primary point of contact for benefit vendors, brokers, and third-party administrators.Collaborate with benefit providers to resolve issues, facilitate claims processing, and ensure compliance with service level agreements.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing employee benefits programs, including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, and COBRA.Prepare and distribute required benefit notices, disclosures, and reports to employees and regulatory agencies as necessary.Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee benefits records, including enrollment data, coverage elections, beneficiary designations, and premium deductions.Generate reports and analyze data to monitor benefit utilization, costs, and trends.Assist in the development and implementation of benefit policies, procedures, and guidelines.Document benefit processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.Provide responsive and customer-focused support to employees regarding benefit inquiries, claims issues, and coverage questions
