We are looking for a Controlling Associate to join our global finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for recording daily financial transactions, performing bank reconciliations, and supporting the monthly and annual closing processes. You will also analyze accounts, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with applicable tax and accounting regulations. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented and eager to grow in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities Record and update daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, income, and expenses.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between the company's records and bank statements.
Assist in the monthly and annual closing process by preparing reports and making necessary account adjustments.
Analyze accounting accounts to detect inconsistencies or errors and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
File and organize accounting documents such as invoices, payment receipts, and other financial records.
Ensure compliance with applicable tax and accounting laws and regulations.
Support external audits by providing requested documentation and information.
Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for significant financial variances.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial issues, such as billing discrepancies or pending payments.
You have... Proven experience in recording and updating accounting entries, performing bank reconciliations, and supporting month-end closings.
Strong skills in analyzing accounts and preparing accurate financial reports.
Experience in organizing and managing accounting documents.
Knowledge of applicable tax and accounting regulations.
Excellent communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams.
Full fluency in English; another language would be a plus.
