Founded in 1969 by Linda Randell, The English Centre (El Centro Inglés) is located in Cádiz, Spain. The area of Cádiz is located on the country's southwestern coast and has a population of 124,000. The school campus spreads across 18,000 square metres, of which 7,500 is designated classroom space. School facilities include a music room, ICT Suites, laboratory and specialist classrooms, dining room, kitchen, tutorial rooms, reception, bar, indoor hall, and assembly hall.
The English Centre is co-educational and secular, and students are taught between the ages of 2-18. The school hosts language immersion Summer Camps, courses abroad, and in Language Centres. The Palabramos is a creative writing workshop for 10-18 year olds and is unique for the Cádiz region. The English Centre identity is founded around the idea that 'English is Fun' and utilises modern teaching methods to continually improve language education.
