.Offer DescriptionAbout the research groupNeurometabolic diseasesThe Neurometabolic Diseases laboratory directed by Dr. Aurora Pujol is dedicated to advancing the management of rare brain disorders through precision medicine, focusing on genomic diagnostics and treatments that modify disease progression. Our primary research targets X-linked adrenoleukodystrophy (X-ALD), using multiomic approaches to explore disease mechanisms and identify therapeutic targets. Additionally, the group applies clinical and functional genomics to uncover and diagnose novel disease genes involved in brain white matter disorders. We are funded by national and international grant schemes.About the roleWe are seeking a Project Manager to coordinate research and clinical projects focused on understanding and treating neurometabolic disorders. He/She will manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure the successful completion of lab initiatives, including clinical studies, experimental protocols, and grant submissions. He/She will work closely with principal investigators, lab staff, institutional scientific and management support teams, international collaborators, and funding agencies, ensuring that all activities adhere to scientific, regulatory, and ethical standards.Job requirementsProfessional experiencePreparation of grant applications and justificationsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to timelines and budgets.Strong knowledge of life sciences research processes and regulatory requirements.Demonstrated experience in managing multidisciplinary research projects.
