METT Hotel & Resorts Marbella - Estepona is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join our Housekeeping team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing and supervising the housekeeping staff, ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. JOB FUNCTIONS: -Supervise and coordinate the work of housekeeping staff, ensuring that guest rooms and public areas meet established quality standards. -Assist the Housekeeping Manager in planning and organizing daily tasks, efficiently distributing work assignments. -Inspect guest rooms and public areas to verify that cleaning tasks have been properly carried out. -Manage and resolve issues and complaints related to the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms. -Assist in the training and development of housekeeping staff, ensuring they are familiar with and correctly apply hotel procedures and standards. -Control inventory of cleaning supplies and products, placing orders as needed. -Maintain effective communication with other hotel departments to ensure comprehensive and quality guest service. -Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations in the workplace.
Requisitos : Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in 4 or 5-star hotels. Excellent organizational and team management skills. Ability to work under pressure and efficiently solve problems. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques. Flexible schedule and availability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays. Positive attitude and customer service orientation. Intermediate level of English (preferred).
