Hotel Posada Del Valle: Kitchen Assistant/Waiter

Hotel Posada del Valle is looking for a Kitchen Assistant/Waiter.We are a 12-bedroom hotel & restaurant in the heart of Asturias. We are looking for a capable and experienced person to fulfill a multitasking role in the kitchen/dining room during July. This will be for either 20 hours per week or 40 hours per week, and will only be in the evenings.Tasks The successful candidate should be able to keep an eye over the kitchen and jump in where needed. The tasks will include:Assisting the chef with prep work and cleaning.Doing bar service before and during dinner.Taking out the meals and clearing the plates.Making sure the tables are set, the music is playing, and everyone is happy.Helping set up for breakfast.Requirements Experience working in a restaurant is necessary. A good level of English is required, and a basic level of Spanish is a bonus. The ideal candidate can work fast and efficiently and has an eye for detail. He/she should also have good social skills as interaction with guests is vital.Benefits This will be a contract position (with standard benefits) and there is a possibility of accommodation on site. The position is for the month of July but may be extended to the end of September.The hotel is set in a spectacular setting and we have a very warm and friendly working environment with wonderful, appreciative guests.
