We are on a steep growth curve and are looking for a dynamic Hotel & Building Manager to lead a high-performing team at our Boutique property, BEXT Vallecas by Habyt and oversee operations for both long-stay and short-stay guests. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth running of the hotel contributing to the optimization of revenue, occupancy, and average rate. You will be a Habyt brand ambassador delivering the level of service that produces guest satisfaction. You'll dive headfirst into the world of flexible housing and will have an immersive experience in the heart of our operations. Located in Ensanche de Vallecas, Madrid, BEXT Vallecas by Habyt offers 304 flexible units and other building amenities.

Your responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop comprehensive business plans that outline strategies for revenue growth, profitability, and market share expansion. Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decision-making. Set clear performance goals and objectives for all departments, aligning them with the overall property vision.
Operational Excellence: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control standards for housekeeping, maintenance, and guest amenities, ensuring a consistently exceptional guest experience. Oversee preventative maintenance programs to minimize disruptions and ensure the property remains in top condition. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations, boost efficiency, and optimize resource allocation.
Leadership: Build a high-performing team by attracting, recruiting, and onboarding top talent. Provide ongoing coaching, development, and mentorship opportunities to empower employees and foster a culture of continuous learning. Cultivate a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes employee engagement, recognition, and high morale.
Financial Acumen: Manage budgets effectively, controlling costs while maintaining high standards of service and quality. Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities for cost savings, and areas for investment. Oversee the property's financial performance, ensuring profitability and achieving established financial targets.
Guest Satisfaction: Champion exceptional guest service by setting clear expectations and empowering staff to deliver personalized experiences. Implement a system for proactively addressing guest concerns, ensuring prompt resolution and exceeding expectations. Monitor guest satisfaction ratings and feedback to identify areas for improvement and continuously enhance guest experiences.
Revenue & Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the Revenue & Sales team to develop targeted strategies for attracting new customers and maximizing revenue across diverse segments. Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship-building efforts. Analyze sales and marketing data to measure campaign effectiveness and optimize marketing spend for maximum return on investment.
Compliance Management: Develop a comprehensive compliance program to ensure strict adherence to all legal, safety, operational, labor, and brand standards. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address any potential compliance issues promptly. Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices, implementing them within the property operations. Provide required information to Building Owners as per the reporting calendar and any time that is required. Establish and maintain a good relationship with Owners and representatives.
Your qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience in hospitality or real estate property management.
Proven experience as a Hotel Manager or similar role.
Strong understanding of hotel management best practices and relevant laws.
Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team motivation and collaboration.
Fluency in English and Spanish is required. Additional languages are a plus.
Active listening and problem-solving skills, with the ability to accurately assess a situation and respond appropriately to resolve all comments, tickets, queries and concerns professionally.
Strong financial acumen and ability to manage budgets.
Ability to work flexibly and responsively to meet the needs of guests.
Tech-savvy with experience working with Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and PMS/helpdesk systems.
