Hostel in Barcelona is searching for an outstanding personality for a Front Desk Manager to join our team. We are looking for a professional able to handle different tasks together and work under pressure. Exceptional service to our guests is a must, where solving issues goes smoothly and diplomatically. We want you to participate and co-create a very friendly atmosphere, while still keeping things in order and managing many multitasking activities at the same time. We are searching for a creative soul.
Responsibilities:You are a great leader and team worker.You are responsible and multitasking.Always able to deliver excellent customer service, you are an example for your team and always go a step further.Pro-active and creative.Well organized and great with time management.Language proficiency: English and Spanish essential.Experience working with PMS MEWS and other hospitality systems: Channel Manager, CRM, RMS, etc.Friendly and welcoming approach, kind and professional.You are able to work independently.You can handle stress or pressure if it occurs.You love to work with people and are very familiar with the type of our guests.You can manage a small team while also looking after the property.You are a people person, but manage all administrative tasks and jobs effectively.This is a full-time position, with morning/afternoon shifts mostly, but possibly a night shift in case of urgency. This position is very active, not a passive sitting behind the reception or in the office.
Requisitos:You have at least 2-3 years of experience as a Receptionist Supervisor/Manager in the Hotel/Hostel industry (Experience from the Hostel industry is a BIG plus).If you are coming from the Hotel Industry, you are familiar with the Hostel concept, guests, and how it all works.You have decent IT knowledge as we are a high-tech place.Any experience from F&B is a plus.Any experience with events/activities, and social media is a plus.Any experience with groups is a plus.You speak fluent English and Spanish; basic Catalan + another language is a plus.
