You are a highly experienced and transformative senior Sales Director within the FMCG industry. Based from our Madrid office, you will love working in the Spanish On-Trade commercial channel, with a deep connection to HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants and Cafes). With a deep understanding of the market, you are passionate about driving strategic growth, leading large teams, and transforming businesses to achieve their full potential. You are ready to take on the challenge of leading the On-Trade Channel to the next level, excited to drive innovation, lead with a future-oriented mindset, and position the business as a market leader. With a focus on strategic growth, people development, and operational excellence, you are committed to making a significant impact in this role.
Your Role- Strategic Leadership: You have a proven track record of developing and executing comprehensive channel strategies, from controlling sales to overseeing marketing activities, ensuring maximum efficiency and effectiveness. You have successfully managed P&L and led the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
- People Leadership: Leading large teams is one of your core strengths. You are passionate about people development, building diverse teams and fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment where talent thrives. You are committed to building high-performing teams through coaching and performance management.
- Data-Driven Decision-Making: You have a strong understanding of the importance of data and digital tools in sales. You fully leverage platforms like Salesforce to transform the way teams work, enhancing efficiency and creating a truly data-driven sales organization.
- Revenue Growth Management (RGM): You have a keen understanding of the financial levers of RGM, ensuring all your decisions are aligned with P&L performance. Your experience in revenue growth helps you optimize both organic and inorganic growth opportunities for the business.
- Customer Engagement: You excel at building and nurturing relationships with key accounts and individual sales outlets, always keeping a close eye on emerging market trends and competitive activity.
- Operational Excellence: You are dedicated to delivering exceptional brand execution across various sub-channels and you pride yourself on implementing flawless annual channel execution plans that drive continuous improvement in the business.

- Your experience managing large teams across regions, and your ability to lead with both "Radical Candor" and empathy, ensures that you build strong connections and take decisive actions to elevate team performance and capabilities.
- You have a deep understanding of the Spanish On-Trade market, its key players, and future trends.
- You are highly analytical, with a data driven mindset. You embrace new tools and technologies and appreciate the power and competitive advantage that these can bring.
- You are fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken, enabling you to communicate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
