Holistic Therapist*High level English requiredJob Title: Holistic TherapistReports to: Spa ManagerResponsible for: Developing an excellent service to clients/ guestsMinimum Requirements:Minimum of 3 years of experience as a:Spa TherapistCustomer Service representative with proven salesExperience in a Hotel environment or SpaLanguages: English: Professional Level / Spanish: Professional LevelOther languages are highly valued (French, German, Russian, Arabic)Principle scope and purpose of job:Must be detail-oriented and have ability to multi-taskAbility to be efficient and productive in a luxury, fast-paced environmentMust have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skillsMust possess basic math skillsEnsure that the reception desk is always mannedEnjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personalityExcellent communication, listening and computer skillsMust be a team playerMust have weekend availabilityKey tasks as follows:Guest/OperationListening to the needs of the individual client and assessing the treatment which may be best for themProviding advice as well as alternative treatmentsAllocating all rooms daily, in liaison with housekeeping and sometimes also with maintenanceUnderstanding the current medical conditions of the client in order to make sure they are not exposed to treatments which may be riskyDiscussing treatment plans with the client and altering them if necessaryProviding a range of treatments to the individualConstantly checking that the client feels comfortable with the particular treatment being administeredAssessing the session with the client after the treatment has endedSpending time advertising and trying to build up a client baseReading research on new treatments and keeping up-to-date with new advances in the medical worldThe ability to listen closely to the needs of clientsAn analytical mind which can understand how best to treat an individual's needsPatience, since some treatments take a long time to workConfidential at all timesPeople & DevelopmentEnsure adequate stock of supplies and equipment; inform management when stock is lowDevelop a culture of excellence within the teamRegularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spaBe part of creating and nurturing a philosophy throughout the business to ensure a great team spiritThe ability to keep sensitive information confidential at all timesActively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts availableMaintain eye contact when addressing external and internal guests; develop professional and personalized relationships with regular guestsAbility to perform the duties of the Retail Consultant as neededHandle guests' questions and concerns promptly, professionally and courteouslyOther:This Job Description serves as a guide and may be changed in the light of changing business needs.We are offering:Long term contractFull time. 8 hours working (without split shift).
