An award-winning strategic partner of AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure, DoiT works alongside more than 3,800 customers worldwide.The OpportunityAs Technical Writer, you will be encouraged to take a customer-centric view towards documentation; collaborating with our talented team of product managers, engineers and designers to identify documentation needs.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as native-level proficiency in English, are essential for success in this role.This role is ideal for someone who has an appetite to learn new challenging technical concepts and the desire to become a subject-matter expert in our product.ResponsibilitiesBecome a subject matter expert in our productCreate, update and maintain customer-facing documentation at DoiT Help Center and the Developer HubCollaborate with Product managers, engineers, and designers to gain an in-depth understanding of our product portfolio, identify documentation needs and opportunities from a customer-centric viewManage multiple documentation tasks in any given sprintContribute to other technical knowledge articles at DoiTParticipate in tooling and process improvementsQualifications4+ years experience in writing, editing, and reviewing technical documentation for B2B SaaS productsProven ability to gather information from multiple channels, dive deep, and synthesize the information into a cohesive narrativeProven ability to operate with flexibility, in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environmentSelf-organized and a self-motivated individual who is confident, thorough and tenaciousExperience building documentation websites with static site generators and markup languages like Markdown/MDX; proficiency with docs-as-code tools like GitHubUnderstanding API best practices; familiar with API specsand documentation toolsExcellent communication skills in English, both written and verbalBonus PointsBasic understanding of cloud technology, e.G., AWS, Google Cloud, KubernetesExperience and knowledge of DocOpsA great sense of humor and enjoys having fun at workAre you a Do'er?Be your truest self.
