This position is key to ensuring thorough, accurate designs that minimize risks, optimize project outcomes, and prevent delays. You will be responsible for maintaining full control of the evacuation process, from design through to construction and commissioning, ensuring smooth project execution.Please submit your CV in English.Your Responsibilities:You lead the Basic and Detailed Engineering of Medium Voltage (MV) & High Voltage (HV) Overhead Transmission Lines (OHL) and underground lines, including cable sizing simulations using software like CYMCAP.You design and calculate MV and HV transmission lines using specialized software such as PLS-CADD.Conduct site visits to ensure proper execution and project compliance.Create and review Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for MV & HV components and collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure quality standards are met and the project stays on schedule.Prepare bidding documentation for HV transmission works and equipment, managing external resources such as engineering consultants, geotechnical and topographic surveyors, and other professionals involved in grid interconnection design and commissioning.Direct internal and external designers and consultants in delivering detailed drawing packages and project documentation, ensuring adherence to the design criteria for HV evacuation infrastructure.Work closely with procurement to develop realistic project schedules, cost estimations, and scopes of work, while supervising HV commissioning and ensuring proper coordination.Manage all stages of HV transmission line design, from conceptual to advanced system development, ensuring regulatory compliance and providing technical support during the construction phase.You have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in transmission line design and engineering.You possess strong technical expertise in MV & HV transmission line design, using software such as PLS-CADD and CYMCAP, and have experience in managing engineering and construction projects.You are experienced in coordinating with external consultants and contractors, as well as creating RFPs and preparing bidding documentation for HV works and equipment.You have excellent project management skills, with the ability to ensure quality, cost control, and timely project execution.You are business-fluent in both Spanish and English.
