Context And Mission: We are looking for a High-Performance Computing (HPC) support engineer to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in technology and Linux, eager to learn the fundamentals of HPC and grow into a specialist role, becoming a vital part of our team.

Key Duties:
Work on new solutions to improve the user experience using HPC resources.Create new solutions to automate the resolution of incidents or requests to facilitate the day-to-day work of the team.Requirements:
Education: Graduated in Computer Science (or related discipline).Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience: Experience and knowledge in Linux systems; experience in parallel programming models (MPI, OpenMP, threads,...) is an advantage but not a requirement; desirable knowledge of MySQL, Python, and BASH script; good level of English.Competences: Capacity to interact and build strong relations with the team; good written and verbal communication skills.Conditions:
The position will be located at BSC within the Operations Department.We offer a full-time contract (37.5h/week), a good working environment, a highly stimulating environment with state-of-the-art infrastructure, flexible working hours, extensive training plan, restaurant tickets, private health insurance, support for relocation procedures.Duration: Open-ended contract due to technical and scientific activities linked to the project and budget duration.Holidays: 23 paid vacation days plus 24th and 31st of December per our collective agreement.Starting date: 01/10/2024.Applications procedure and process:
