We are part of Vodafone Business Product Engineering and we are looking for an Engineering Manager - MPN Connectivity within our Mobile Private Networks, Cloud and Edge Computing portfolio.
The Manager, MPN Connectivity will spearhead a pivotal team responsible for the strategy, design, and build of our product for mobile private networks tailored for enterprises.
This role demands a leader who is in sync with modern engineering practices, ensuring that our mobile private networks are not only functional but also focus on how we can build and maintain them at scale.
Who you are : Lead a team of software engineers and managers to strategize, design, and build our mobile private network product.
Adopt Agile ways of working and implement DevSecOps practices within the team.
Gather requirements, with the larger team, to define high-level architecture, collaborate with other engineers across the team to design and build our product.
Plan budget, resources, and tools to deliver against our roadmap.
Drive all aspects of the development, including requirements definition, design, implementation, testing, and integration.
Oversee detailed designs, implementation, and test plan reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Work closely with several stakeholders across product management, mobile networks, and infrastructure teams to define the roadmap, provide status, iterative releases, and create designs and builds for our product.
Work experience in mobile networks 4G, 5G and understanding on designing and building mobile network systems.
Experience with modern software engineering practices, such as Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD.
Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
