MISSION
Supervise and control, with all the EDP's areas involved, the implementation of the Group's Health & Safety policies in Germany, spreading the Health & Safety culture within the company and the contractors. Ensure the regulatory & ISO 45001 compliance, as well as the implementation of the EDPR Management System. Detect emergency situations and propose solutions.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
Assess the regulatory compliance of the sites/offices and propose action plans.
Perform risk assessments of our employees.
Investigate incidents (accidents, near misses, hazard report) and develop the preventive actions plan.
Perform H&S inspections in O&M and E&C sites.
Perform and present periodical safety reports. Implement and participate in the update of tools and applications that support H&S activities.
Follow up the contractors H&S performance.
Ensure the contractor documentation process (E-Gestiona).
Provide technical support to other departments in all the phases of the projects (Development, Construction and Operation).
Give support to the HR teams for Health & Safety trainings.
Ensure the implementation of the EDPR Management System (ISO 45001) and propose improvements. Participate in the H&S governance (Management review, HSE commissions, Corporate H&S monthly meetings…).
Ensure the coordination with the H&S supervisors in construction sites.
REQUIRED PROFILE
ACADEMIC LEVEL: Occupational Health and Safety Officer or equivalent.
REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: At least 3 years in relevant fields.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge about PV plants is a must. Knowledge about wind farms is a plus.
Risks: electricity and working at heights.
German legislation.
ISO 45001 and H&S Management Systems.
Construction sites.
International experiences are a plus.
LANGUAGES: High German level and fluent English are a must.
SKILLS / COMPETENCES:
Good communication and persuasion skills.
Interest in technical aspects.
Good contractor management.
Dynamic and focused on continuous improvement.
Conscientious.
