Our Health Economics & Market Access team is looking for passionate professionals to lead strategic initiatives that highlight the economic benefits of our cutting-edge technology and services. Showcase the powerful impact of Medtronic's healthcare technology by crafting health economic strategies and building evidence that drives greater patient access. Partner with clinicians, health authorities and collaborate across teams to bring life-changing medical innovations to more people at every stage of care. This hybrid role is based in Madrid, with flexibility to work both in-office and remotely, some travel will be expected, about 25-30% of the time.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Develop and implement strategies and programs to secure funding, coverage, and payment from payers and providers
Lead economic evidence generation projects (including cost-effectiveness modelling and budget impact models) to highlight and elevate the benefits of our product portfolio
Foster evidence-based interactions with Health Technology Assessment bodies to improve patient access to Medtronic therapies
Identify payer opportunities and challenges and implement programs to reduce market access barriers for the company's products and therapies at national, regional, and hospital levels
Collaborate with regional teams to ensure local needs and perspectives are well-integrated within European and Global Healthcare Economics, Policy & Reimbursement (HEP&R) strategies
Contribute actively to innovative business approaches that support the company's strategy to strengthen long-term customer partnerships, align with funding resources, and deliver added value
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Master's degree in Health Economics, Pharmacoeconomic, Market Access
At least 2 - 3 years of experience in health economics or market access positions
Fluent in Spanish and English (both verbal and written)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Ability to work autonomously
