Job Description: DXC is one of the biggest IT Industry in Spain.
We provide services across the entire Enterprise Technology Stack with strong traditions in digital technologies, IT infrastructure, applications, analytics, security services and more.
We seek to enlarge our Mancomunated health and safety team which is responsible for all security and safety related issues of DXC Technology in Spain.
The main task is to create and maintain a safe and secure environment for the locations, events and other activities of DXC and of its staff.
The selected candidate would be located in Madrid.
Responsibilities Implement and execute HS annual objectives improvement plans in conjunction with site operations and HS management.
Prepare the Risk Assessments of the workplaces and coordinate the Safety Inspections of the different work centers.
Manage proactively outsourced companies on HS issues.
Monitor implementation of HS Standards, legal requirements, regular audits, and inspections.
Assure emergency response programs are in place and in compliance with legislation.
Assist organization with implementation of an HS management system.
Ensure awareness of and compliance with HS and Fire Protection requirements by the organization.
Review and incorporate HS standards promulgated by DXC.
Responsible for managing projects covering the HS portfolio within a sub-region or complex site.
Manage and perform the daily operations of projects, including customer inquiries, program support, and communicating with local authorities.
Responsible for implementing training programs and communications to targeted employees.
Develop and manage HS programs that have multi-site/country-wide impact.
Responsible for maintaining management systems at sites (including documentation).
Investigate and report incidents, accidents, and occupational diseases and follow all preventive actions.
Collaboration with HS related Labour Inspections, including appearing in those Inspections as the HS experts.
Attend worker's council meetings and respond to worker's counsel requests/issues (in locations where required by law).
Education and Experience University Degree in a relevant field.
Level of education required by local legislation to perform HS position (Técnico superior con las tres especialidades preventivas (Seguridad, higiene, Ergonomía y psicosociología)).
Fluent English (both written verbal).
Preferably auditor certification according to ISO 45001 standards.
Minimum 3 years of Health Safety experience.
Experience in ergonomic and psychosocial assessments.
Previous experience as a HS technician in an IT company or similar is valuable.
Knowledge and Skills Ability to take responsibility and ownership of the delegated tasks.

Deep knowledge of local legislation and some knowledge of European legislation.
Strong technical abilities.
Good strategic thinking and business acumen.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent knowledge of local legal requirements relevant to HS.
