Location: MalagaDuration: 6-12 months (potential for future projects in scaling/expansion regions)Contract type: PAYE or LTDSalary: open, depending on experienceRole Overview:Our client, US Cloud company, is seeking a Project-based Health and Safety (H&S) contractor to support the management of H&S services on a construction project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the construction industry, with a strong focus on H&S management and oversight roles.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage H&S services on a construction projectEnsure compliance with all relevant H&S regulations and standardsConduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazardsImplement corrective actions to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environmentCollaborate with project teams to promote a strong safety cultureProvide H&S training and guidance to site personnelPrepare and maintain H&S documentation and reportsQualifications:Ideally, a construction safety qualification such as CSSA degree in H&S, EHS, Construction Engineering, or related areas is beneficial but not essentialExtensive experience in the construction industry may be weighted higher than formal qualificationsExperience:Minimum of 5 years experience in H&S management or H&S oversight rolesEssential experience in construction, with a preference for candidates who have worked primarily in this sectorData centre construction experience is advantageous but not requiredSkills and Competencies:Strong written and verbal English communication skillsCommunicative level of SpanishSuitable soft skills for a client-side roleAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWhy Join Us:Opportunity to work with a leading global companyPotential for future projects in scaling/expansion regionsGain valuable experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environmentInterested in this opportunity?
