Health And Safety Consultant

Location: Malaga

Role Overview: Our client, US Cloud company, is seeking a Project-based Health and Safety (H&S) contractor to support the management of H&S services on a construction project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the construction industry, with a strong focus on H&S management and oversight roles.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage H&S services on a construction project Ensure compliance with all relevant H&S regulations and standards Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards Implement corrective actions to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environment Collaborate with project teams to promote a strong safety culture Provide H&S training and guidance to site personnel Prepare and maintain H&S documentation and reports Qualifications: Ideally, a construction safety qualification such as CSS A degree in H&S, EHS, Construction Engineering, or related areas is beneficial but not essential Extensive experience in the construction industry may be weighted higher than formal qualifications Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in H&S management or H&S oversight roles Essential experience in construction, with a preference for candidates who have worked primarily in this sector Data centre construction experience is advantageous but not required Skills and Competencies: Strong written and verbal English communication skills Communicative level of Spanish Suitable soft skills for a client-side role Ability to work independently and as part of a team Why Join Us: Opportunity to work with a leading global company Potential for future projects in scaling/expansion regions Gain valuable experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Interested in this opportunity?
