To lead and optimize the vendor management function for the well-established Airports and the emerging Indirect categories, driving cost efficiency, operational excellence, and strategic value across the organization.
Main Responsibilities/Accountabilities Category Development: Establishing and developing the vendor management function for Airports and Indirect categories.
Vendor Management: Lead the definition and implementation of the long-term strategy for suppliers in Airports and Indirect categories.
Supplier Performance Management: Ensuring suppliers fulfill their contractual obligations.
Process Improvement: Driving continuous improvement initiatives in procurement and vendor management processes.
Collaboration with IAG GBS & Cross-functional: Collaborating with IAG Central Procurement on larger, cross-functional projects.
Team development: Organize and manage the team, promoting their development, teamwork, and communication between their collaborators and the rest of the Company.
Main Relationships
COO, CFO, Technical Director, Maintenance Heads, Ops Planning, Finance, Admin, Fleet, IAG Transformation, IAG procurement, Suppliers under Maintenance Portfolio.
Experience 5-8 years of experience in procurement, vendor management, or supply chain, focusing on Airports, and Indirect Categories.Proven experience in a senior leadership position in procurement/vendor management.Experience establishing or growing vendor management processes in new or less established procurement categories (especially in indirect categories).Involvement in managing or supporting large, cross-functional procurement projects in collaboration with central procurement.Competencies Financial know-howProcurement best practicesContract ManagementIndustry and Market KnowledgeLanguages English C1 - SpanishLocation
